I had the honor to be working with Capital Pride and Visit Washington DC while exploring the magical city of DC. I came to promote WorldPride in DC which is in May 2025!
I met so many LGBTQ+ game changers and everyone simply radiates COMMUNITY! There was so much love echoing throughout the streets at Capital Pride.

Where to PLAY
The Queer nightlife has something for everyone and you will not be disappointed! Be a LESBRO like me and visit the Lesbian bar League of Her Own, take a bathroom selfie at the cutest Little Gay Pub, dance the night away at Bunker, and get your circuit on at Echo Stage. For those looking for daytime fun visit Bar Chinois for Drag Brunch!
What to SEE
Get on a boat and sail around the Potomac! I went with Whitlows on Water and had a blast. The best way to tackle DC is by foot or bike. I got in 20,000 steps a day walking, but biking is a glorious way to see the city. A Queer history walking tour is an absolute must! Our tour was with DC Pride Walks and we learned a lot of Queer history. Visit the cafe 350 Bakery which is Queer owned and has the most delicious banana bread I have ever had.

Where to STAY
If you want an elevated yet approachable accommodation, stay at the Kimpton George Hotel. For an eclectic vibe with an electric ambiance hit up Yotel. Both are in walking distance to the Capital and the main train station.
Capital Pride
The theme for Capital Pride 2024 was ‘Totally Radical,’ and Totally Radical it was! The programming for Capital Pride was of the people and for the people.
